Snowflakes that stay on your nose and eyelashes!

So, this morning we woke up to the "Blizzard of 2008", I believe the official snowfall was around 20 inches!  The kids were excited to go out an play in the snow, and take a sled ride!   Dylan was excited to use the super cool snowball maker he got for Christmas from Uncle Chris.  I have to tell you it really works, and that little twerp nailed me smack dab in the middle of my face with one of those turbo snowballs.  Don't worry, later in the day I found him stuck in the fence (yes, he tried to climb the fence with his snowboots on).  Did I come running to his defense...no, I ran for my camera.  Unfortunately, he broke free just as I was about to snap the picture.  Here are some of my favorite pictures!

Oh, the cabin fever is setting in...but we are on the home stretch to SPRING!!!  For some reason I have not been enjoying this winter, and I really used to love winter.  I had a winter wedding for a reason!  Anyway, it could be that I am getting old(er)...but I think the real reason is the LONG walk I now have from my car to my office.  Honestly, I paced it once and it was over 500 steps.  For those of you that keep track of steps that is about 1/4 of a mile.  So, I now have to wear a scarf, earmuffs (I don't want frizzy hair..it does not go well with my fat) and gloves!  Not happy!  So, the other day when Chris (Uncle Chris that is) called an said he wanted the kids to come see him and get some hot-chocolate...we jumped at the idea.  Of course, I had my camera...don't ask!  The kids enjoyed their hot-chocolate...but they really enjoyed seeing Uncle Chris at work (sorry to all the other patrons there that evening...my kids were WIRED).
